David Grüning is a leading researcher in digital behavioral science. He earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Heidelberg University and works with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Stanford University. His research focuses on creating digital tools using smartphone apps that help people design their own life patterns in a clear and adaptable way.
For the past five years, David has been the Science Director at the Prosocial Design Network. There, he leads international research and develops guidelines for using digital interventions effectively, working closely with users and apps.
